
Not your average yard to own
In the streetwear world, where minimalism often blurs one brand into another, we set out to create something with more attitude. A design that speaks with quiet confidence rather than blending into the noise. 2 Yards, founded by two sisters, came to us needing a brand that was completely edgy and witty, channeling their bold, raw energy while visually telling their story of connection. We knew the logo had to be as adaptable as their clothing. We created a custom, dynamic logo with a visually striking mark that can be scaled, stretched, or compressed across any platform. We then used the logo's signature slant shape to build the entire graphic system used across all touchpoints, from packaging to social media. The visual world was anchored by a bold, rich color palette of deep burgundy, warm maroon, and cream. We reinforced the personal "yard story" by AI generating oil-painted illustrations showing two girls in the yard. These striking artworks became the emotional anchor for the entire brand. The girls also came up with a cheeky tagline — “It’s not a dumb idea” and we turned that into the hero of their packaging, capturing their unapologetic spirit in one bold line.
